The investigation revealed that a stake truck had been stopped facing north bound on Road 113, waiting to turn left when a Volkswagen Jetta travelling north at highway speeds drove directly into the back of the truck. This section of roadway was closed for several hours to allow for the Stratford Police Service Collision Reconstruction Team to investigate the incident. At this time the cause of the collision remains unknown, however police remind all drivers to always remain vigilant and be aware of your surroundings to help prevent similar incidents from occurring.
